Got a question about our waste removal services in Plymouth? You'll probably find the answer below. If not, get in touch and we'll be happy to help.

General

How much does waste removal in Plymouth cost?

Our prices depend on the volume and type of waste you need removed. We offer free, no-obligation quotes — and you'll always know the exact price before we start. No hidden fees. Call us on 07703 607 365 or fill in the form for a fast quote.

Do you offer same-day waste collection in Plymouth?

Yes! We offer same-day waste collection across Plymouth and surrounding areas including Plympton, Plymstock, Saltash, Ivybridge, and Tavistock. If you call us in the morning, we can often be with you the same afternoon.

What types of waste do you collect?

We collect almost all types of non-hazardous waste including household rubbish, garden waste, old furniture, appliances (fridges, washing machines, cookers), office waste, construction debris, and more. If you're unsure, just ask — we're happy to help.

Are you a licensed waste carrier?

Absolutely. Plymouth Waste Removals is fully registered with the Environment Agency as an authorised waste carrier. All waste we collect is transported, sorted, and disposed of in full compliance with UK waste regulations.

What happens to the waste you collect?

We take your waste to licensed recycling and transfer facilities in the Plymouth area. Over 90% of everything we collect is recycled or repurposed. Reusable items such as furniture and clothing are donated to local Plymouth charities wherever possible.

Which areas do you cover?

We cover Plymouth city centre and all surrounding areas including Plympton, Plymstock, Ivybridge, Saltash, Tavistock, Torpoint, Sherford, Efford, Southway, Roborough, Mannamead, Mutley, and Derriford. If you're nearby, we can almost certainly help.

Do I need to be home for the collection?

It helps if someone is there to show us what needs to go, but it's not always essential. If your waste is accessible (e.g. in a front garden or driveway), we can arrange a collection without you needing to be present. Just let us know when you book.

How do I book a waste removal?

Booking is simple. Fill in our free quote form, call us on 07703 607 365, or message us on WhatsApp. We'll give you a fair price and arrange a collection time that suits you — often the same day.

Yes. Our team regularly collects appliances from upstairs bedrooms, bathrooms, and loft spaces. We take care to protect your stairs and walls during removal.

How are old appliances recycled?

Appliances are taken to licensed WEEE recycling facilities. Fridges and freezers have refrigerant gases safely extracted. All metals, plastics, and components are separated and recycled according to UK regulations.
